I attended Stanford University and graduated with a degree in Economics. I’ve scored a perfect score on both the SAT and ACT. I do in-home tutoring in Los Angeles, and online tutoring the world over. My goal is to inspire students to take pride in learning, and to reconceptualize tests and homework as puzzles that we work through together.

I began tutoring after receiving a perfect 1600 score on my SAT, and set out to learn the ins and outs of each standardized test. Since scoring a 1600 on the SAT, I’ve also taken the ACT, GRE, GMAT, and LSAT. I’ve scored a perfect or near-perfect score on each test that I tutor, ensuring that I am able to provide expert guidance to students after having taught myself. In addition, I retake each test once a year to ensure I’m up to date on format and that my scores are current.

Each student who works with me gains access to an individualized program. The first thing we do is set a goal, and we build towards that goal week by week. A lesson plan is created that targets each student’s specific needs.

My philosophy for raising grades and scores combines communication with precise knowledge. My belief is that communication is the key to being a successful tutor. It is not enough to simply know how to ace a class or test, you have to be able to show the student how their goal is attainable. Once you inspire a student to enjoy learning, they will start to self-actualize in ways they never thought possible. I have sent students to the nation’s top universities, and I look at my students’ success as my success. My students inspire me and in turn my goal is to inspire them.
