1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of jmtestprep.com (the "Site") and any tutoring, test preparation, or Zoom lesson services provided by Jeffrey Michael Test Prep ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or enrolling in our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are enrolling a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and agree to these Terms on their behalf.

2. Our Services

We provide one-on-one tutoring in school subjects and standardized test preparation, delivered in person and/or via Zoom lessons with a shared whiteboard utility. Session content, pacing, and materials are tailored to the individual student and are provided electronically where applicable.

3. Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Lessons are scheduled by mutual agreement between the client and Jeffrey Michael Test Prep.
• We ask for as much advance notice as possible for cancellations or rescheduling; late cancellations may be subject to the fee described at the time of booking.
• We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate schedule changes but cannot guarantee availability for rescheduled sessions.

4. Fees & Payment

Current rates are published on the Site and may be updated from time to time; the rate in effect at the time of booking applies to that engagement. Payment is due according to the terms communicated at enrollment. We reserve the right to pause or discontinue services for accounts with outstanding balances.

5. Zoom Lessons & Materials

Video lessons are conducted using Zoom and a shared whiteboard utility. You are responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and a suitable device for online lessons. Materials provided electronically are for the personal educational use of the enrolled student only and may not be redistributed.

6. Acceptable Use

When using the Site or attending lessons, you agree not to:

• Use the Site or our services for any unlawful purpose
• Record, redistribute, or resell lesson content without written permission
• Attempt to interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Site
• Submit false or misleading information through the contact form or during enrollment

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, worksheets, and lesson materials created by Jeffrey Michael Test Prep — is our property or used with permission, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use directly tied to your enrolled lessons.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jeffrey Michael Test Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may discontinue tutoring services at any time, subject to any notice period agreed upon at enrollment. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
